USB modem to Ethernet? I have mobile broadband which means I plug a little USB stick (USB modem) into my PC for teh internets. http://www.telecom.co.nz/mobile/mobilebroadband/devices However I want to be able to use this from an Ethernet cord- how do I do this? Do I need a specfic router/ switch?
Could this plan potential work? I own an iPod Touch, and would love to use that anywhere, without upgrading to an iPhone. Now my idea is that I buy the Mi-Fi from Version: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobilebroadband/?page=products_mifi With the $60 5GB a month plan: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobilebroadband/?page=plans I would buy a microphone for my iPod Touch, and use Skype and a texting apps for calling an texting. My first question is if 5GB a month too little for using an iPod Touch as a regular phone? My next question is, would this plan cost less than if I bought an iPhone? Keep in mind I already own the iPod. My final question is, how well would this system work? Would it just be a better idea to buy a iPhone, even if it does cost a little more? Thanks in advance.
